Meet Our August Good Taco: The Lobster Taco.

The Good Taco is our way of giving back to the community that supports us. Each month, we team up with local businesses and organizations to create something delicious while raising money for a cause doing meaningful work in our community.

This August, we teamed up with our friends at The Lobster Pot, a local favorite serving the Grosse Pointes and surrounding communities since 1952, to create The Lobster Taco.

It starts with tender, butter-poached lobster topped with summer corn, queso fresco, fresh lime and cilantro, all wrapped in a warm tortilla. It’s bright, buttery and packed with summer flavor.

Throughout August, $1 from every Lobster Taco sold will benefit Arts & Scraps, a Detroit nonprofit that transforms recycled industrial materials into affordable art supplies, creative learning tools and hands-on STEM programs for the community.

The Lobster Taco is available all month long for $8 at Lola’s Taco Bar. Come enjoy a great taco, support two incredible local organizations and help us do a little good along the way.
